A Million! A Millionaire!
In the first week, Lil Wayne has sold over 1 million copies of Tha Carter III, far surpassing all other top record sales for the year. No only did he defeat Kanye’s “Graduation” record last year, which sold 957,000 in it’s first week, but is the only artist since 50 Cent’s “The Massacre” to sell over 1 million records in a single week.
