and if they ever play with me ima get another tear drop… While I agree with benc that some of my favorite Weezy tracks are those that have Lil Wayne’s distinctive sense of humor, I have to admit that part of me likes the badass, Hollygrove side of his shit, too. He certainly has a way of spitting tracks that include both threats and jokes, but when he means it, he means it.“…if you don’t like it, nigga fuck ya with an AIDs dick…if killa say a nigga dead, then a nigga dead. if stunna say a nigga dead, then a nigga dead.” (Dipset)“i spit bullets at hood niggas…ask a nigga, have i ever been in the back of a car, lookin for other niggas after dark, they’ll ya what’s up. i ain’t bad as fuck, but i’m tough enough. that’s why.” (Feelin’ Myself) ” that’s an automatic shotty from a drum they call Tommy, guaranteed to get you bitches from by me. when i hit every piece of your physical body, he’s leakin!” (Oh No)“i think they sippin’ on that I-Can-Fuck-With-Him Juice. test me if ya wanna bad man, i knock a limb loose. i aint never scared, im protected everywhere and if a nigga disrespect me then he shall be buried there. that’s my word.” (Get Em) We could all name a lot more, because there’s a million of them, and most all of them are great. In interviews we’ve been posting on here and passing around he talks about murdering niggas, at live shows he threatens people saying he’ll throw bullets back at them, in the Westwood interview he talks for five minutes comparing recording in the studio and spitting a track to murder.“if someone step on your shoe, and you turn around and knock they’re head off, then you a murderer…if it’s me i step in and i say ‘that’s the beat? that’s who you want me to kill? this one right here? i don’t care if he got a family. i don’t care if he got a wife. POW. he dead. i am the beast. “Granted a lot of rappers rep a crime sheet they can’t back up (“talkin’ that crime, but a lot of ‘em lyin”), and I’m sure Weezy puffs his chest up like the rest of them do, but with the tear tattoos and all the other interviews I’ve seen and heard, I feel like Lil Wayne isn’t someone I’d fuck with; he seems insane enough to do about anything and that’s what I like about him.SO WITH THAT SAID, I hate when he puts lines in songs that contradict his whole murdering, insane, psychopathic image he’s built for himself.“I ain’t never killed someone, I promise.” (Hustler Musik)“I promise I’ll kill ya, and that’s a fact. But no I ain’t ever killed no one, jack.”I don’t really have any big conclusion to this thought, but thought I’d just say publicly I hope Lil Wayne isn’t repping crimes he’s never done, making him just another trite rapper spitting the same bullshit.….of course….I guess it’s not the greatest thing in the world to be hopping he’s actually killed someone. I’m just saying.-jpc
